Animal Control Department

The City of Kress Animal Services' department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community. New tethering laws will be inforced. 

  • Responding to stray animal complaints
  • Investigating dangerous animals
  • Impoundments
  • Adoptions
  • Barking dog complaints
  • Trapping nuisance wildlife and loose livestock
  • Ordinance enforcement

To file a dangerous animal complainant, please use the form which is linked below or you can visit City Hall and request one. 

Instructions:

  • Please answer all questions as specifically as possble
  • This is your affidavit, and the answers are considered sworn statements.
  • Incomplete complaints will not be considered
  • If a question doesn't apply, write N/A
  • If you do not know the answer to a question, you can state - "I don't know"
  • You can use extra sheets if necessary. (Please attach them to form)
  • If there is any video, audio, photographic or other documentary evidence, if must be submitted to Animal services on DVD, USB Flash drive and capable of playing on Windows Media Player. This complaint cannot be evaluated until any documentary evidence available is provided to Animal Services.
  • The form MUST be nortized by an Notary Public of the State of Texas.
